Deputies say a Sodus Point man faces multiple charges after an investigation involving her employer.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports that Alec Trine, 21, was arrested on April 21st following an investigation at The Stegar Haus Restaurant in Sodus.
Trine is accused of stealing a large amount of money from the business while employed there. When deputies located him — he had the money with him.
Trine was subsequently taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit through a parking lot. Deputies say that he was quickly apprehended.
Subsequently Trine has been charged with third-degree grand larceny, third degree escape and second-degree obstructing governmental administration.
He was remanded to the Wayne County Jail and will answer the charges at a later date.
