Penn rules Vincent can keep doctorate; former HWS president not interested in returning to position

The University of Pennsylvania has ruled former Hobart and William Smith Colleges president Greg Vincent’s doctorate in education will stand, so long as he makes some revisions to the document.

On April 13, HWS announced that Vincent had resigned after less than a year on the job, saying he wanted “to avoid any further stress to the campus community.”

However, Vincent said Saturday he has no intentions of seeking his old job back.
