Officials at the Auburn Correctional Facility are following protocols after a white powdery substance was discovered in the mailroom.
TLC Ambulance was on standby during the incident which remains under investigation by authorities.
No injuries or illnesses were reported, but HAZMAT crews, as well as fire and law enforcement were on scene.
