Bristol Mountain stays open for business through this weekend

It appears that Mother Nature is still reluctant to fully give in to spring so Bristol Mountain has once again decided to extend the season that officially launched on November 11, 2017. Right now it appears that out of the 50 New York Ski Areas, only Bristol Mountain and a few other ski areas plan to reopen this weekend. Bristol Mountain holds bragging rights of being the first ski area in New York to open this season.

“Some of our guests would ski on July 4th if it were possible. This season has certainly been full of surprises. I just learned today that Park City (Utah) just closed for the season. Who would have thought Bristol Mountain would have a longer season than Park City,” laughs Broderick, Director of Marketing at Bristol Mountain.

Bristol Mountain will reopen the slopes from 9am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday. The will offer an all-day lift ticket for only $35. Guest Services, Rocket Lodge, Carver’s Kitchen, the rental department and season locker rooms will be open. The conditions page at www.bristolmountain.com will be updated with the anticipated open trails for the weekend on Friday afternoon.
