Suspended Syracuse parks commissioner Lazarus Sims is accused of taking property valued over $3,000 from the city, according to court documents.
Sims was arraigned Tuesday morning in Syracuse City Court. He was charged with third-degree grand larceny, according to court documents. The property was allegedly taken from the city of Syracuse Department of Parks and Recreation between Oct. 16, 2017 and Oct. 31, 2017, according to records.
