Sodus man drove drunk, had .16% BAC

On April 13th police arrested a 55-year-old Sodus man following a traffic stop where he was observed moving from his lane unsafely.

Charles F. Kinsman, 55, was charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a BAC greater than 0.08 percent and moving from lane unsafely.



Kinsman was placed under arrest on Van Slyck Road in the Village of Sodus after failing multiple standard field sobriety tests.

He provided a breath sample of 0.16 percent, according to police.

The charges will be answered at a later date.
