Deputies say on April 11th they were called to the BOCES Flint Campus after receiving a call from administration about inappropriate contact between a substitute teacher and student.
An investigation was initiated, and it was revealed that a 17-year-old female student had reported that a substitute teacher inappropriately touched her while in a classroom.
As result, the teacher — identified as 76-year-old Lee Maclaren, of Newark — was charged with forcible touching. He was processed and issued an appearance ticket returnable to Seneca Town Court.
Investigators say Maclaren was removed as a substitute teacher from BOCES.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with more information about related incidents to call (585) 396-4638.
