The Syracuse Orange basketball program has some scholarship spots available for 2018, and they’re looking into how to address those. But in the meantime, SU has to get started on 2019’s class — and they’ve been doing just that of late. Joseph Girard III, of Glen Falls, N.Y., is a high-scoring guard that’s on the list of top targets for SU. Orange coaches visited on Sunday and will likely be in hot pursuit as the recruiting period wears on.
Girard is far from the only 2019 target on the list for Syracuse. They visited with five-star big man Isaiah Stewart last week, and four-star forward Akok Akok today.
