A 28-year-old Gorham man was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Thursday around 10:40 p.m. after a traffic stop for speeding in Lyons.
Deputies stopped Gregory M. Pierson, 28, of Gotham on Geneva Street for speeding. Upon investigation it was determined that he was intoxicated.
He submitted to standardized field sobriety tests and was arrested for driving while intoxicated, driving with a 0.08 percent BAC, and two counts of speed in zone.
He was issued appearance tickets and released to a family member.
The charges will be answered at a later date in Lyons Town Court.
