Temperatures are going to improve on Tuesday, with highs pushing toward 40 degrees — but changes are in the offing. Some of them will be good, and others not-as-much.
FLX Weather Meteorologist Drew Montreuil is sounding the alarm on this weekend’s ‘warm-up’, which has been making headlines. He says the amount of uncertainty that exists with the model runs for temperatures mean that everything from 30 degrees to 80 is possible.
That’s due to proximity of a cold front, which will be draped along the Finger Lakes. Those south of the front will see warm temperatures, while those north of the front will see continued cold.
Before any of that though, the region will see some rain on Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures both days will be comfortably in the 40s, which will be an improvement over the last several days.
