Seneca Falls woman charged after interfering with felony investigation

On Sunday at 7:42 p.m. the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department a 29-year-old after she interfered with a separate investigation.

Colleen S. Smith, 29, of Seneca Falls lied to police – telling them a male, who was subject of a felony arrest warrant was not inside their apartment. She additionally told them that the individual police saw enter the apartment was not the subject they were trying to locate.



After police took that male into custody they also arrested and charged Smith with third-degree hindering prosecution, a class A misdemeanor.

Smith was processed and released on an appearance ticket. She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on May 3rd, 2018, at 5:30 p.m.
