Improving weather?
Finally, the Finger Lakes is going to start to see some spring-like weather this week. The National Weather Service says a major shift in the overall pattern is going to bring significantly warmer weather — and nighttime lows that get higher than what recent daytime highs.
The only major chance for winter-like precipitation will come Monday night into Tuesday morning — as a storm system passes to the south. Parts of the Southern Tier could see some wintry weather during that period, but beginning Wednesday temperatures will really start to rise.
By the end of the week, temperatures will be pushing, or even exceeding 60 degrees.
