Deputies say an altercation on March 30th at the Steuben County Jail resulted in the arrest of a 32-year-old Cameron resident.
Christopher M. Ferreira, 32, of Cameron is accused of initiating a physical confrontation with another inmate, which resulted in a larger fight.
He was arraigned and will reappear at a later date.
Deputies say additional charges are pending against him.
