State Police say a 26-year-old Weedsport man was arrested on felony DWI charges after a property damage accident on West Genesee Street Road in Aurelius.
Andrew M. Stott, 26, of Weedsport was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle while using a portable electronic device.
Police say Stott had a previous conviction in the last ten years.
He was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests and was transported to Auburn State Police HQ where he provided a breath sample of 0.26 percent.
Stott was arraigned in Aurelius Town Court and remanded to the Cayuga County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash bail or $3,000 secured bond.
