Deputies say a 20-year-old Ovid resident was arrested on sexual misconduct charges following an investigation into an incident involving him and a minor.
Deputies arrested Isaiah R. Prosser, 20, of Ovid on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. after he allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse with a female less than 17-years-old.
He is being held on a parole detainer for violating the terms of his conditional parole.
Prosser was charged with sexual misconduct and endangering the welfare of a child.
Deputies say Prosser is scheduled to appear in Romulus Town Court at a later date.
Investigators were assisted by members of the New York State Division of Parole.
