Seneca County Sheriff Tim Luce reports that on March 27th deputies arrested a 34-year-old Ovid resident after an investigation into a call for a reported larceny.
Erin J. Riley-Khan, 34, of Ovid was charged with two counts of Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor, and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree a class A misdemeanor.
Deputies report that the arrest stemmed from a call for a larceny that occurred in the Town of Ovid on March 15th and March 17th. Deputies say Riley-Khan stole several prescription pills, from a Town of Ovid resident.
She was arrested for the above charges and arraigned in the Town of Romulus Court and was released on her own recognizance. She will appear in Town of Ovid Court on April 3rd.
