Brooklyn residents arrested at Eastview Mall for using forged credit cards

Three Brooklyn residents were arrested after an investigation at Eastview Mall, according to deputies.

Rahshawn Dixon and Dashawn Smiley had been in multiple stores making suspicious purchases. Deputies say that upon further investigation — the two were found to be in possession of forged credit cards, which had been used for several purchases.



Dixon was charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument. Smiley was charged with 10 counts of second-degree criminal possession of red instrument.

The third male, who was identified as Davon M. Dixon, was a fugitive from justice with a warrant out of Pennsylvania. All three were arraigned in Farmington Town Court.

All three were remanded to the Ontario County Jail.
