The Finger Lakes Wine Alliance wants to spread the word about how good local riesling grapes and wines are.
Toward that end, the third annual Finger Lakes Riesling Camp will be April 8 to 10 at 15 locations throughout the four-county area, sponsored by the FLWA.
“This innovative program will bring 16 wine influencers from various markets across the country for a three-day, hands-on, intensive and intimate riesling experience,” said Tracey Dello Stritto, executive director of the Geneva-based FLWA.
“Campers” will participate in vineyard and winery experiences, blending trials and educational session on topics related to riesling production, including single vineyard rieslings, riesling clones and riesling versatility.
