An Ovid man convicted on child pornography charges was sentenced Thursday to 15 years in prison.

Christopher Eberhardt, 34, was sentenced to 15 years in prison and 15 years of parole after he was convicted in a federal jury trial of distribution, receipt and possession of child pornography.

Eberhardt’s sentencing was announced in a press release by James Kennedy Jr., U.S. Attorney for the Western District of New York.
