Wayne County residents charged after parolee is found following week-long search

Deputies say two Wayne County residents were arrested after an investigation into a parolee who had been paroled on burglary charges — and had removed his electronic monitoring device, which tracked his location.

Authorities say it all began on March 11th when the device was removed. Then on March 22nd, the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Service contacted the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office requesting assistance in locating Isreal M. Lomil, 24, of North Rose.

He was on parole for first-degree burglary and had removed his electronic ankle monitoring device.

Deputies located Lormil at the Budget Inn in Ontario at approximately 11:05 p.m. and was charged with a parole violation.

Deputies say Deanna L. Bixby, 24, of Sodus became aware of the search for Lormil during the investigation. Ultimately, she was the individual who rented the room at the Budget Inn where the parolee was located, and was subsequently charged with third-degree hindering prosecution.

All of the charges will be answered at a later date.
