The Hobart College lacrosse team will host Northeast Conference rival Saint Joseph’s University on Saturday, March 24. The opening faceoff on Boswell Field is scheduled for noon.
Hobart (3-4, 1-0) opened NEC play this past Saturday with an 11-5 win at Wagner College. First-year Ryan Archer produced a season-high seven points on two goals and five assists, junior Matthew Pedicine won 16-of-20 faceoffs and picked up a career-high nine ground balls and sophomore goalie Sam Lucchesi made a career-high 10 saves.
The Statesmen are ranked in the top 20 in the nation in caused turnovers (10th, 8.43/g), faceoff winning percentage (14th, .577), turnovers (15th, 12.0/g), ground balls (16th, 30.86/g), and clearing percentage (17th, .898).
