Rhinos owners plan legal action over stadium lease

The Rochester Rhinos say they are looking to legal options after failing to reach an agreement over the lease for Capelli Sport Stadium.

The city moved to evict the team after the Rhinos cancelled their 2018 season due to financial constraints. The team did, however, scheduled other soccer games with the USL and the Rochester Lancers to be played at the stadium.

The Rhinos owners felt that would satisfy conditions in the lease requiring the stadium to be used for professional soccer. The city disagreed.
