The Canandaigua Police Department reports the arrest of a 28-year-old following the execution of a search warrant at 7 Wood Street.
Christopher Diaz, 28, of Canandaigua was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after the search and investigation, which determined that the 1.5 ounces of cocaine on his person was for sale.
Diaz was taken into custody as part of a co-investigation conducted by the Canandaigua Police Department and the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
He was arraigned in Canandaigua City Court and ordered to be released on his own recognizance.
He’s scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
