Skiers at Bristol Mountain hoping for an extended season

This snowy winter may seem never-ending to some, but skiers are loving it as it’s made for some great conditions.

Skiers hit the slopes at Bristol Mountain Sunday enjoying the last two weeks before the end of the season.

“It’s a nice sunny day and we have some good snow,” said skier Jeff Gallinger of Fairport. “It’s a lot better than it was in February. We probably don’t have much of this left.”

Michael Giovaniello and his family traveled south from Toronto for the snow.

“In Toronto there’s no snow left; it’s all gone. It was above freezing all week so there’s not a whole lot going on in the ski hills there,” Giovanniello said. “We would ski in the summer if we could.”
