The Hobart College lacrosse opened Northeast Conference play with an 11-5 win at Wagner College this afternoon. The Statesmen got several career-high performances in the game.
First-year Ryan Archer led the charge with a season-high seven points on two goals and a season-high five assists. Junior Matthew Pedicine dominated the faceoff X, winning 16-of-20 while scooping up a career-high nine ground balls. Senior Christopher Willman matched his career-high with three caused turnovers. Sophomore goalie Sam Lucchesi earned the win in goal with a career-high 10 saves.
