On March 12th at approximately 6:30 a.m. members of the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested a 48-year-old resident on drug charges after a traffic stop.
The traffic stop was initiated after the report of a suspicious vehicle near the Elks Lodge on River Road. During the investigation, it was determined that Tanya K. Rivkin, 48, of Seneca Falls was in possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
She was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
She was released on appearance tickets and will answer the charges in Seneca Falls at a later date.
Police say Rivkin was subsequently transported to the City of Rochester where she was turned over to the Rochester City Police Department to answer an outstanding felony warrant.
