Police: Waterloo man had 5 lbs of marijuana in car during traffic stop

On March 12th at approximately 4:15 p.m. a 39-year-old Geneva resident was taken into custody on felony possession charges after a traffic stop on North Street.

Geneva Police say John Dickson, 39, of Waterloo was charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana and three counts of aggravated unlicensed operation. He was also charged with operating a vehicle without an interlock device.



Police say that five pounds of marijuana was found inside the vehicle after the traffic stop was executed.

Dickson was held without bail due to a previous conviction.
