Canandaigua man arrested on felony drug charge; becomes third arrest in large investigation

Deputies say a 25-year-old Canandaigua man was the third arrest on Monday in an ongoing cocaine distribution investigation throughout Ontario County.

Earlier in the week it was reported that Robert Pesante and Kaylon Fowler, both of Ontario County were charged with felonies amid the investigation.

Now, 25-year-old Miles Nelson, of Canandaigua was charged with second-degree criminal sale of cocaine. Deputies say the arrest is subsequent to an incident that occurred on December 20th, 2017 — in Canandaigua where he allegedly sold 27 grams of cocaine to another individual.

He was committed to the Ontario County Jail without bail.

The investigation is a joint-effort between the Sheriff’s Office, Geneva Police Department and Canandaigua Police Department.
