Police: Canandaigua man threatened another with a knife during altercation

Police say a 64-year-old Canandaigua man was arrested after brandishing a knife during physical altercation.

Steven Flood Sr., 64, of Canandaigua was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree menacing, as well as endangering the welfare of a child.



Flood is accused of getting into an altercation with another male, and in the process brandishing a knife — threatening that individual.

Police say an 11-year-old child was present during the incident.

Flood was remanded to the Ontario County Jail without bail.
