Man robbed Monday morning in front of Dunkin Donuts in Auburn

A man was robbed at knife point in front of the Dunkin Donuts on Genesee Street in Auburn on Monday, according to the Auburn Police Department.

Reporting by the Auburn Citizen indicates that a witness saw three males approach another male, who was in his 30s as he was walking down the street during the early-morning hours of Monday.

One of those individuals had a closed fist, as well as a knife, and struck him. When he fell to the ground — the assailants reached into his pockets and took his possessions.

The victim does not want to speak with police, according to the Citizen.

The victim was taken to Auburn Community Hospital and is being treated for injuries related to the robbery.
