Police: Williamson man possessed weapon during Canandaigua incident

On Thursday around 1:05 p.m. police took a 27-year-old Williamson resident into custody on a weapon charge following the investigation into a May 2017 incident in Canandaigua.

The Canandaigua Police Department reports that with the assistance of New York State Police, and the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office — Pierre T. Thomas, 27, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.



Thomas is accused of possessing a weapon on May 13th, 2017 during an incident in Canandaigua. A co-investigation between the three agencies involved resulted in the charge.

He was remanded to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail.

The charges will be answered at a later date.
