Sheriff: Romulus man stole vehicle, attempted to have it scrapped

Seneca County Sheriff Tim Luce says a 25-year-old Romulus man was taken into custody on charges to the theft of property, which included a vehicle.

Dylan C. Slack, 25, of Romulus was charged with felony criminal possession of stolen property and fourth-degree grand larceny after alleging stealing property, which included a vehicle — from a residence in Romulus.

Slack then transported the stolen vehicle to a business in Waterloo to be scrapped.

Slack was arraigned in Waterloo Village Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $1,500 cash bail or $3,000 secured bond.

The charges will be answered at a later date.
