A 73-year-old Canandaigua man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after an investigation into a one-car property damage accident on County Road 46 on Wednesday.
Deputies say that Daniel Gerald Shelp, 73, was taken into custody without incident following the investigation into the accident in Hopewell.
Help submitted to a breath test, which showed that he had a BAC of 0.08 percent or higher. He was issued multiple uniform traffic tickets and released.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
