Steuben County woman faces felony charge after aiding fugitive

State Police say a 24-year-old Arkport woman was arrested after allegedly aiding a male, who had an active warrant out for his arrest during an investigation.

Sara Shroyer, 24, was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and second-degree hindering prosecution, which is a Class E felony.



Police say the active warrant was out of New York State Parole.

Shroyer was arraigned in Howard Town Court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 secured bond.
