As far as the statistics go, this February will likely go down as one of the warmest on record. The second half of the month, which has seen day-after-day of above normal, or exceptionally warm temperatures has resulted in a shift away from winter.
– The week will start out warm with temperatures heading into the mid-40s on Monday.
– Tuesday and Wednesday temperatures will soar into the 50s, which will cap off February on a warm note.
– No major chance for rain will be coming back to the region until Thursday and Friday — when a possible storm system could bring a mixture of rain and snow the region.
– The details of that storm system are still very uncertain, though, according to forecasters.
