A Tompkins County man is behind bars after the Ithaca SWAT team search a home Friday morning.
Around 5 am Friday, the SWAT team served a search a warrant at a home on Sapsucker Wood Road near Hanshaw Road. Ithaca Police say officers recovered about 1.5 ounces of cocaine, about $7,000 cash, and scales commonly used to weigh drugs.
Police arrested the man living in that home, 31-year-old Lucas Monroe.
He’s charged with two counts of 3rd degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. Monroe is being held in the Tompkins County Jail on $5,000 bail.
