It’s election season … or rather, primary season for those vying to win the Democratic nomination and the chance to compete against Congressman Tom Reed in November’s election. Democrats are trying to build momentum against a representative in Reed that they say ‘does not represent the region’. While Republicans hold a significant advantage in the registered voter category – a handful of hopefuls are putting their faith in the process and campaigning to end Reed’s hold on the 23rd District.
Over the course of the next few weeks, FingerLakes1.com will have the candidates who accepted our invitation to sit down for a one-on-one interview hosted by FL1 News Director Josh Durso. His Inside the FLX podcast will play host to the discussions, which will turn away from national issues, and focus on local issues — as voters look for support throughout the region.
