Deputies: Canandaigua woman forged lease agreement for access to school district

Deputies say a 34-year-old Canandaigua resident was arrested on Thursday after providing false documentation related to residency.

Alissa C. Allgood, 36, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument after it was revealed that last October she provided a false lease agreement to the Canandaigua City School District — alleging that it was proof of residency.

Investigators also say that Allgood forged that lease agreement, and that she did not actually live at the residence she claimed in the document.

She was arraigned in Canandaigua City Court and released on her own recognizance.
