Rose man charged with driving while intoxicated

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Rose man for driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop in Wayne County.

Scott Yonkers, 57, was charged with driving while intoxicated after being found to have a BAC of 0.11 percent. After initiating a traffic stop deputies believed that Yonkers was under the influence, which resulted in tests being conducted.



He was charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content above 0.08 percent, failure to keep right and moving from lane unsafely.

Yonker’s was issued uniform traffic tickets to appear in Rose Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
