On Sunday around 4:00 a.m., the Canandaigua Police Department arrested a 51-year-old Rochester resident on sex abuse charges following an investigation stemming from an incident over the weekend.
David Schutz, 51, of Rochester was charged with first-degree sex abuse, according to police on Sunday.
Schultz is accused of inappropriately making sexual contact with a child under 11-years-old while inside a business on South Main Street in Canandaigua.
He was arrested and taken into custody for arraignment. Additional details of the incident were not released by police.
