Deputies say a 22-year-old Canandaigua man was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop on Smith Road in Hopewell.
Jaymin R. Ransom was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after the stop, which was initiated due to multiple vehicle and traffic violations.
He was transported to the Ontario County Jail where he submitted to a breath test after an investigation at the scene.
Deputies say his BAC was more than two-times the legal limit. He was issued tickets and released to a third-party.
He will appear again in Hopewell Town Court to answer the charge.
