Seneca Falls man charged with felony DWI due to prior conviction

On February 2nd Troopers arrested a Seneca Falls man on a felony driving while intoxicated charge following a traffic stop on State Route 5&20 in Waterloo.

Adam J. Christensen, 44, was charged with felony driving while intoxicated (previous conviction within ten years), operating a motor vehicle with a BAC greater than 0.08 percent, driving on shoulders and operating a motor vehicle without valid head lights.

Christensen was stopped after Troopers observed him driving over the fog line and not having a headlight.



He was placed under arrest after failing standard field sobriety tests, according to police.

Christensen was transported to State Police Waterloo where he provided a breath sample of 0.10 percent BAC. He was issued uniform traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Waterloo Court on February 23rd, 2018.
