Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on Tuesday a Bath man was arrested after touching an intimate part of a child’s body.
Deputies arrested Steven L. Sutfin, 54, of Bath for Forcible Touching and Endangering the Welfare of a child.
It is alleged that Sutfin knowingly acted in a manner likely to be injurious to the physical, mental or moral welfare of a child less than seventeen years old by forcibly touching an intimate part of that child while in Avoca.
Sutfin was arraigned in Avoca Town Court and released on his own recognizance to reappear at a later date.
