The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Butler Man for driving while intoxicated after receiving a report from a citizen.
Deputies say they were alerted to an intoxicated person pumping gas into a vehicle at a local gas station. Following field sobriety tests, deputies took Gregory A. Northrup, 47, into custody.
A subsequent chemical test indicated that Northrup had a BAC of 0.12 percent. He was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, BAC 0.08 percent or higher, and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.
Northrup was later released and is scheduled to appear before the Butler Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
