Deputies in Wayne County say a Newark man was arrested after an investigation into a domestic incident.
On Friday at approximately 9 p.m., deputies arrested Gary L. Reasor, 41, of Newark subjected his girlfriend to unwanted physical contact during a dispute, which violated an active stay away order of protection.
Reasor was eventually taken into custody — but according to deputies, he physically resisted at the time.
He was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, aggravated family offense, resisting arrest, and second-degree harassment.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
