Waterloo man revived after December crash involved in another accident in Seneca County

A Waterloo man who deputies say had to be revived after a crash in December on State Route 414 was again involved in a crash in Seneca County.

Deputies say Scott M. Knowlton, 19, of Waterloo was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and failure to use designated lane after a crash on State Route 96 in the Town of Fayette.



Knowlton was traveling south on Sunday when his vehicle veered off the roadway, striking and splitting a utility pole. As deputies moved through the investigation it was determined that Knowlton was impaired.

Deputies issued Knowlton traffic tickets and is scheduled to appear in Fayette Town Court on February 21st to answer the charges.

First responders tell us NYSEG was also on-scene for a period of time as cleanup took place.
