Deputies say a Geneva man was arrested on two charges following the issuance of a warrant in Phelps Town Court.
According to deputies, Matthew L. Davis, of Newark was arrested at Phelps Town Court on a warrant issued earlier — charging him with third-degree assault and second-degree unlawful imprisonment.
Both are Class A misdemeanors, according to deputies.
The charges are the result of an investigation into a domestic dispute, in which Mr. Davis was involved. He was released on his own recognizance and will appear before Phelps Town Court at a later date.
