After a frigid feeling Sunday, and overnight lows again dipping to around zero degrees — the region is going to get a moderation of temperatures on Monday.
FLX Weather Meteorologist Drew Montreuil says that temperatures will slowly moderate on Monday, as clouds increase with an approaching low pressure system. Montreuil says that it’s dissipating, so it won’t bring a ton of snow to the region, but it will be enough of a disturbance to prompt on-and-off snow throughout Monday night and Tuesday.
Temperatures should hover in the low-20s throughout this period.
He added that once this system passes, the remainder of the week looks calm. Temperatures may even moderate this weekend, bringing warmer weather to the Finger Lakes again. – Read more from FLXWeather.com
