The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Rochester resident after providing false information at the scene of an accident.
Deputies say Princeton N. Dorch of Rochester was charged with second-degree criminal impersonation, aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to keep right, speed not reasonable and unlicensed operator.
Patrol responded to a vehicle off the roadway in the Town of Huron at around 2 am, and upon arrival Dorch provided deputies with a false name.
Upon further investigation it was learned that Mr. Dorch had a warrant out of Monroe County and was operating his vehicle with a suspended license.
He was arraigned in the Town of Huron Court and is being held at the Wayne County Jail on $1,500 cash bail.
Police say he is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Huron Court at a later date and time to answer the charges.
