The Hobart College hockey team will host two NEHC games in The Cooler this weekend. The Statesmen face Babson on Friday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m., and take on No. 7/10 UMass Boston on Saturday at 4 p.m.
Hobart is ranked No. 9 in the latest D3hockey.com poll and was voted No. 11 in this week’s USCHO.com poll. The Statesmen bring an 8-3-4 overall record and a 5-1-2 mark in the NEHC into this weekend. Hobart returns home to The Cooler after five straight games on the road. The Statesmen rank second in the league in both scoring offense (3.40 g/gm) and scoring defense (2.00 ga/gm).
